Sarri Agrees Term With Chelsea To Become New Manager

Former Napoli coach Maurizio Sarri has reached an agreement with Chelsea on Friday to become the club's new coach on Thursday following the dismissal of Antonio Conte.

Recall that Conte was released after two years at Stamford Bridge.

Sky Sports reports that Sarri has signed his contract with the club in West London. The Chelsea legend Giafranco Zola is to be active as an assistant to the coaching staff.

The report claims that Sarri will be announced as the new Chelsea manager within the next 48 hours.

Zola scored 59 league goals for Chelsea in seven seasons between 1996 and 2003.
